This is the beginning of a new year and most of us are going to start out strong and dwindle out by the end of the year.

This is what works for me. At the end of the year (2009), I set weekly, monthly, yearly and 5 year goals.

The monthly goals are broken down unto 12 months and the weekly are broken down into 4 weeks. Some months have 5 weeks, but I just use 4 weeks because it is always awesome for me to have a break to think, organize and plan every now and then.

I also set the goals so that I can achieve them. It always feels good to get stuff done. I have noticed in the past when I set my goals too big and I did not get anything done, that for some reason it slowed me down from getting other goals done, as well.
